[Methodios Anthrakites]. Βοσκὸς λογικῶν προβάτων, ἤτοι, περὶ τοῦ Καθήκοντος τῷ Πνευματικῷ Ποιμένι, καὶ πῶς δεῖ Ποιμαίνειν τὸ ἐμπιστευθὲν αὐτῷ λογικὸν Ποίμνιον..., Venice, Nikolaos Glykys, 1708.
First and sole edition of the work by Methodios (about 1660 - about 1749) many of whose writings were printed, such as the Episkepsis pneumatikou and Christianikes Theories. Anthracites, born in Ioannina, was educated by G. Sougdoures and studied philosophy in Italy. He taught in his birthplace and then at the school of Castoria. His aim was to translate philosophical works of Westerners such as Descartes for the elevation of the intellectual level of Greeks.
