First and only edition of the Grammatike Geographike by Patrick Gordon, written in English, then translated into French and Italian, and into Greek by G. Phatzeas, who was born in Cythera, went to school in his birthplace and subsequently studied in Venice where he was ordained priest at the church of St George. Finally he was nominated Metropolitan of Philadelphia.
