[Demetrios Hatzi Polyzoes].
About a year after the Ekdikesis Dikeotate, Polyzoes once again issued a booklet ‘against Ignorance’, with an imaginary place of publication, Kosmopolis (= Venice), while deleting the name of the printer: Venice, N. Glykys. In the ‘News’ fronting the text the author makes his reasons known for issuing this fresh edition: in order to supplement some verses to the Paignion kata tis Agnoias previously published, to declare that he is ready once more to fulfil his teaching obligations and finally to protest against all those who mocked his Peri Agnoias and to castigate ‘something detestable’ written anonymously by a malicious liar.
