Fourth edition of the Idylls by Theocritus, while the first was printed by D. Damilas in Milan in 1480 for account of Buono Accorsi. This edition, which is the second product of Kallierges’s printing house in Rome, was issued under sponsorship once again by Cornelio Benigni, whose printer’s mark is after the colophon. At the end of the Idylls a seven-page text entitled «Τοῦ σοφωτάτου χαρτοφύλακος τῆς πρώτης Ἰουστινιανῆς καὶ πάσης Βουλγαρίας, Κυροῦ Ἰωάννη Πεδιασίμου, ἐξήγησις εἰς τὴν τοῦ Θεοκρίτου Σύραγγα». Pediasimos was deacon and hartophylax of Bulgaria at the time of Andronikos Palaiologos (II and III), (1282-1341). He was a scholar and writer and works of his survive to this day.
