Aristophanes. Ἀριστοφάνους Κωμωδίαι Ἐννέα μετὰ σχολίων..., Basel, in officina Frobeniana, 1547.
The first edition of the Comedies of Aristophanes, with Commentaries, was edited by M. Mousouros and printed in Aldus’s press in 1498. Numerous reprints came out in Italy thereafter as well as in France, while the first German edition dates to 1532, signed by J. Cratander and J. Babel.
