Michael Glykas. Annales Michaeli Glycae Siculi... latinam in linguam... per Io. Levvenclaium..., Basel, per Episcopios, 1572.
The authentic title of the work by Glykas, a historian writing in the end of the twelfth century, is Biblos Chronice. It is divided into four periods of time: the first treats the Creation and the remainder describe historical events from the beginning of time until the death of the emperor Alexios I Komnenos (1118). This edition represents the first part of Glykas’s poem with the Latin translation by Leunclave, while the Greek text, with Latin translation by Meursius was first printed in Lyon in 1618 with the title Theodori Metochitae Historiae Romanae ... because Meursius attributed Glykas’s work to Metochites.
