The editio princeps of Arrian’s works was published in Venice in 1535 by the press of B. Zannetti, while in Geneva Henry Stephanos had brought out an edition of the Peri Alexandrou Anabaseos with the Latin translation by the Flemish Humanist B. Vulcanius. Vignon’s edition comprises the Periplous tou Euxinou Pontou as well as of the Red Sea and others.
