Georgios Pisides. Ἑξαήμερον ἤτοι Κοσμογονία... Ἰαμβεῖα εἰς τὸν μάταιον βίον... [Heidelberg], Hieronymus Commelinus, 1596.
The first edition of the ‘Hexaemeron’ was printed in Paris by Fr. Morel in 1584 and the second in Frankfurt. Pisides’s poem, consisting of 1,910 verses is his greatest achievement in ecclesiastical poetry.
