One of the most significant and popular works by L. Bos (1670 to about 1717), a Dutch philologist who, after completing his university studies devoted himself entirely to the study of Greek. From 1697 on he took on the position held by Sibranda at Franeker’s university chair. The Antiquitatum was first published in 1714.
