In 1843 123 additional myths by Gabrias were discovered in a manuscript at Mt. Athos, and were issued for the first time in Paris in 1844 by Ambroise Firmin Didot. The present edition was published by Hachette publishers, well known to this day, founded by the scholar-publisher L. Chr. Fr. Hachette in 1825.
