[Markos Depharanas]. Ἱστορία τῆς Σωσάννης, Venice, Orsino Albriggi, 1667.
The first edition of the History was printed in Venice in 1569 and was reprinted at least six times since. Depharanas (sixteenth century), a poet from Zakynthos, wrote rhyming verse characterized by an intensely Christian tone.
