Justinus. Βιβλίον ἱστορικὸν καλούμενον Ἰουστίνος, μεταφρασθὲν ἐκ τῆς Λατινίδος φωνῆς παρὰ Ἰωάννου Μάκολα..., Venice, Michael Angelos Varvonios, 1686.
First and only edition of the Justinus, that is of the Epitoma historiarum Philippicarum by Marcus Junianus Justinus (see Nos. 248, 261, 284, 285). The translation from Latin was edited by the Athenian Ioannes Makolas, who rendered the text in ordinary Greek. Makolas, also translated Ovid’s Metamorphoses.
