The fourth edition, while the first was printed in Venice, again by Andreas Ioulianos, in 1666. Damaskenos, originally from Thessaloniki, is counted amongst the pre-eminent students of Eleavoulkos. The most significant of his numerous and diverse works is the Thesaurus.
