Alexandros Mavrokordatos. Γραμματικὴ περὶ Συντάξεως... καὶ ἑτέρα Μιχαὴλ τοῦ Συγγέλου..., Venice, Nikolaos Glykys, 1745.
First and only edition of the Grammar as well as of M. Syggelos’s. Mavrokordatos wrote his Grammar when he was teaching at the Patriarchal Academy and he was occupied with corresponding grammatical and oratorian tools. Syggelos’s Grammar (circa 761-846) is the first Byzantine Syntax and was written in Edessa in about 810-813.
