Herodianus. Ἡρωδιανοῦ τῆς μετὰ Μᾶρκον Baselς Ἱστοριῶν βιβλία ὀκτὼ..., Venice, Nikolaos Glykys, 1780.
The first edition of the work by Herodianus of Syria, a third century ad historian, was printed in Venice in 1503 by Aldus Manutius. It was reprinted many times, also in Latin translation – dating from 1490 – as well as in English, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Danish and Russian.
