First edition of the work of Epiphanius (circa 315-403), who was a fanatical supporter of the Orthodox faith after having met Jerome (in 382) when they joined forces against Arianism. The Panarion describes and condemn every heresy that had come to the attention of Epiphanius. His Works (Ἅπαντα) where printed for the first time in 1622, in Paris, by Claude Morel and Sébastien Cramoisy.
