Alexios Rartouros. Διδαχαὶ..., Venice, ἐν οἰκίᾳ Ἀλεξίου ἱερέως τοῦ Ραρτούρου, 1560.
First and unique edition of the Didachai composed by the Corfiot priest who also served as chartophylax of Corfu cathedral. The book was edited by Rartouros (1504-1574) himself, exiled from his homeland and exercising in Venice as testified to by the colophon of the edition: en oikia Alexiou... However, in reality it must have been printed in one of the workshops for Greek books of the day, most probably Zanettis’s or Paulus Manutius’s.
