First and sole edition of the exegesis of the Bible and dogma of the Orthodox Faith, a popularized guide to the meaning of the Divine Words and also destined for teaching purposes. Strategos (1691-1758) was born in Corfu, moved to Venice, enrolled in the membership of the Venice Academy of the Avlavon, completed his studies at Padua and was assigned the headmastership of the Kottouniano College. He wrote songs, odes and epigrams and translated diverse treatises into Modern Greek.
