First edition of a particularly significant trilingual dictionary, a tool for Greek intellectuals and cultivated persons, composed by G. Vendotis, acceding to the wish of the Prince of Moldavia Alexandros Mavrokordatos and with the financial sponsorship of the high-born merchant from Ioannina Demetrios Pavlou. The book was printed in Baumeister’s workshop, where Vendotis had been working since 1787.
