Gabriel Kallonas. Παιδαγωγία περιέχουσα πάνυ ὠφελίμους νουθεσίας καὶ... κανόνας περὶ τοῦ πῶς δεῖ ἀνατρέφεσθαι τὰ Παιδία..., Vienna, F.A. Shraimbl, 1800.
First and sole edition of the Paedagogia, articulated in three sections, of which the first two provide admonitions for infancy, the third containing morality-forming stories, judgements on the creation of the universe and other useful material for the upbringing of young people.
Gabriel Kallonas (1724-1795), a priest, personal secretary of Patriarch Matthaios of Alexandria, a pupil of Eugenios Bulgaris at the Athoniada School, teacher of members of the Greeks of Constantinople, finally settled in Vienna, where he died.
