Athanasios Christopoulos. Λυρικὰ τοῦ ἄρχοντος... λογοθέτου κυρίου Ἀθανασίου Χριστοπούλου νεωστὶ μετατυπωθέντα.., Vienna, Schnierer, 1818.
Fourth edition, the first is dated 1811. Christopoulos (1772-1847), was born in Kastoria and lived in Bucharest for the greater part of his life. He was considered as the greatest poet of his generation. The influence of Anacreon is evident in this collection, while the poet follows the form of light French poetry of the past century.
