Anonymously published edition by Adamantios Korais . It circulated in 1000 copies, 380 of which were destined to subscribers who had pre-ordered them. Korais criticizes the ritual of the Eastern Orthodox Church and claims that “the liberated country of Greece... has the right to establish its own local Synod of free priests, which will define its rituals according to its own interests and those of the newly-founded state”.
