Inwood, who travelled to Greece in 1819, was one of the architects of St. Pancras church, one of the foremost neoclassical monuments of London; the church has a Caryatid identical to those of Erechtheion temple. The list of subscribers includes the names of the most eminent early 19th century neoclassical architects.
