Lucianus. Λουκιανοῦ Σαμοσατέως Θεῶν Διάλογοι, Strasburg, Ioannes Schottus, 1515.
Third edition and the first integral edition of the Theikoi Dialogi (Florence 1496 and Venice 1503), and one of the earliest Greek books, printed in Strasburg. The publisher is given as Ottomar Nachtgall, who in his prologue sheds light of he conditions of early Greek typography in Strasburg, testifying to the Frech influence in the world of Greek books there. Furthermore, Ottomar, who had studied in Italy and Paris, taught Greek at Strasburg and published a grammar and treatises on rhetoric: Gazis’s Elementale and Chrysoloras’s Erotimata. The edition is also of typographical interest, with red-print at the beginning of the text and initial letter of originality as well as other tive elements.
