Aristoteles. Aristotelis Stagiritae Peripateticorum Principis, Ethicorum ad Nicomachum Libri Decem. Ioanne Argyropylo Byzantio interprete.... Cum Donati Acciaioli... Commentariis..., Venice, Franciscus & Caspar Bindonus fratres, 1565.
The first edition of the Latin translation of the Ethikon pros Nikomachon [Ethica ad Nicomachum] by D. Acciaioli is a landmark in the translation philosophy of the Aristotelian opus. It is directly connected to I. Argyropoulos and the re-evaluation of the Aristotelian corpus as well as its interpretation, an example of which was given by his pupil Donato in 1478 under the title Expositio Ethicorum Aristotelis.
