This edition is considerably improved compared to earlier ones and the Aldine editio princeps of 1504 as it is based on valuable manuscripts from the royal library and moreover the book is edited by Guillaume Morel. Morel had been the royal printer and collaborated with Turnèbe, who from 1555 held the royal chair for Greek in Paris. The edition also comprises the annotation by Ulpian of Antioch to the Orations by Demosthenes.
