Amongst the other works by Homer, this edition comprises the Iliou Alosis by Tryphiodorus and Helenis Arpage by Collothus of Lykopolis. The first integral edition of Tryphiodorus dates to 1588, whilst Collothus’s Arpage was first integrally published in 1559. Of the works of the epic poet Tryphiodorus only excerpts have survived of the Siege of Troy, as also of his contemporary Collothus (fifth century ad). The works of these two poets having been composed modelled on the epics of Nonnus.
