This edition by Richel (1557-1621), the son of Wendelin, who succeeded the founder of the printing house Bernard, is a reprint of the Homeric opus, first printed in Strasburg in two volumes (1525 and 1542) by Wolfius Cephalaus, edited by Johann Lonicer who taught Greek in Marbourg.
