The first edition of Thucydides by the Stephanos printers, dating to 1564 and also the first accompanied by the Latin translation by Lorenzo Valla (sole archetype, Trevizo, 1483?). Henry juxtaposed Valla’s with Cl. Syssel’s French translation and considerably improved the translation in comparison with the authentic text.
