First edition, with deficiencies, however, supplemented much later when in 1810 P.L. Courier a new more complete manuscript. It is worth noting that this bucolic novel by Loggos (2nd c ad) was much read in all European intellectual circles, judging also by the French translation by J. Amyot printed in Paris before the editio princeps, in 1559.
