First edition of the chronicler Manassis’ ‘Historiki synopse’ wherein are recorded the events from the Creation until the accession to the imperial throne of Alexios I Comnene in 1081. Leunclavius published the Latin translation of the text which came out in Basel in 1573 and the present edition contains the Latin translation and notes by Mersius.
