Origenes. Field, impensis Gulielmini Morden, 1658
First edition of Origen’s ‘Kata Kelsou’, the Latin translation of which had already come out in 1481 in Rome, published by G. Herolt. Nothing whatever has survived of the works of the neo-Platonist philosopher Kelsos and it is only from Origen’s reply to the former’s accusations of Christians and their conduct that his positions may be surmised.
