The first edition of the History was printed by Aldus in Venice in 1503, and the authentic title is: ‘Ek ton Diodorou ke Plutarchou peri ton en Mantineia machen en kephalaiois dialypsis’. The present edition is the first in Italian in translation by Ant. dalla Bona.
