The first edition of the epic ‘Iliou alosis’ by Tryfiodorus was printed in 1557 in Paris by M. Vascosan and until this one by A.M. Salvino there were five more in the interval. It is the sole surviving epic work by Tryfiodorus, a fifth century ad grammarian in Alexandria, of the school of Nonos
