First edition of the Characters in Italian, dating to 1620 and printed in Genoa by G. Pavoni (Hoffmann III, 536). The translation from Adamantios Coraes’s was edited by Dionysius Ioannes Leontarakis (1809-1848), first printed: in Bologna, 1827, 1830 and the present one in Pisa.
