First and sole edition of this voluminous tome, a publishing achievement, in which the deeds and the times of the patriarchs of Jerusalem are recorded from the days of Iakovos tou Adelphotheou, first Hierarch of Jerusalem, until 1713, when Chrysanthos Notaras was Patriarch. In the book are also included the assemblies of the Holy Apostles and the Proceedings of West and East, as well as much more on theological subjects. The book was funded by the Voevoda Stephanos Cantacuzenos and the publication is due to Metrophanes Gregoras, who came from Dodone, and from the early eighteenth century worked as publisher and corrector at Bucharest’s Hellenic Printing Press.
