First edition of the Stachyologia by Makres (1635-1699), who was born in Ioannina and studied in Constantinople together with Alexandros Mavrokordatos and Ioannes Karyophyllis. It is a grammar written in the form of question and answer, a method initiated by M. Chrysoloras from the end of the fourteenth century (see Nos. 43, 69, 70).
