Georgios Serouios. Σκαλαθύρματα Φιλολογικὰ..., Hermoupolis, ἐκ τῆς Τυπογραφίας Γ. Μελισταγοῦς Μακεδόνος, 1846.
After the War of Independence Serouios (1783-1849) settled in Hermoupolis and wrote numerous teaching manuals. In 1845 he expressed his complaint that Athenian publishers enjoyed facilities while ignoring their provincial colleagues. The printer Athanasiades Melistages, from Thessalonike, started working as typographer in Nafplio (1829-1833) and continued his venture, in Hermoupolis in partnership with K. Demides until 1836 and alone until 1871
