First known edition of one of lesser known examples of Cretan literature, which is the encomium in verse of St Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra, Lycia, composed by Moscholeos Theologetos, a Cretan poet identified with two personages: either him who lived in Chandakas in the second half of the fifteenth century or with his grandson, Theologites the Younger whose name was erased from the Liber Pheudatorum in 1562.
