First and only edition which, together with the Dottrina Christiana, is the only writing of Bellarmino’s in print. Cardinal Roberto Bellarmino (1542-1621) was highly esteemed in the Catholic world and his Christianike Didaskalia represented a ‘gospel’ for the faithful. The Greek translation in the colloquial language was edited by the Greek Jesuit Georgios Voustronios, who had also been a student at the College of Saint Athanasios.
