Ephraim of Syria. Λόγοι καὶ παραινέσεις... μεταγλωττισθέντες παρ᾽ Ἱεροθέου Ἱερομονάχου Ἰβηρίτου..., Venice, Antonio Bortoli, 1720.
First edition, with the second and only other one issued a year later in 1721, containing admonitory speeches by Ephraim of Syria and Lives of the Saints transcribed by Hierotheos Ivirites (1686-1745). Ivirites was learned in Greek and Latin and with knowledge of philosophy and pedagogy. He became a monk of the Iviron monastery, cultivating letters, and wrote the work Kata tis heresis tou Molinou and contributed to the persecution of Methodios Anthracites.
