Second edition of the book, the first dating to 1777, by M. Notaras (1751-1805). Notaras was born in Corinth and had an eventful life, being forced to change his place of residence constantly since he was considered suspect of participation in the 1769 Revolution. He was Metropolitan of Zakynthos and ended his days as a monk in Chios.
