First edition of the Apanta, that circulated with four different versions of the title page, in Vienna and Venice. The work was rendered in the Greek vernacular under the supervision of P. Lambanitziotes, who was also the publisher. Works by Simeon had been printed as early as 1647, such as the Peri tis Theias Mystagogias. The great success of the Apanta led the printer of Venice D. Theodosiou to make a pirated edition, while his son, Panos, also issued a pirated edition, dated 1791.
