This drama is attributed to various authors, such as Eustathius Archbishop of Thessaloniki whereas it is actually the work of Eu. Macremvolites, who was active in Constantinople probably, in the twelfth century, known to us also from a collection of eleven Enigmas. The edition was based on the Greco-Latin version printed in Paris in 1617.
