Konstantinos Michael. Διαιτητικὴ... καὶ Ἱστορία Συνοπτικὴ περὶ ἀρχῆς καὶ προόδου τῆς Ἰατρικῆς..., Vienna, Josef Baumeister, 1794.
First edition of the Dieteteke by K. Michael, who was born in Kastoria and studied philosophy and medicine in Germany. It is not a simple dietician’s manual and is instead a guide treating a variety of subjects in regard to healthy nourishment, in fact based on ancient texts by such as Hippocrates, Plato and Plutarch for instance. The book is dedicated to Baron Störch. Second edition: Venice, 1809.
