First and unique edition as well as the sole appearance of D. Karakases on the publishing scene. The book is dedicated to Alexandros Mourouzes, ruler of Hungaro-Wallachia. Karakases (Melanofrys) (1734-) studied theology and philosophy, continued his studies in Hungary, learned Latin and German and complemented his lore with the study of mathematics and medicine.
