Stephanos Demetriades. Ἀπανθίσματα ἔκ τινος βιβλίου ἑτερογλώσσου..., Vienna, Makrides Poulioi, 1797.
First edition of the Apanthismata by Demetriades, that is of the fictional short story he wrote himself and not a translation from a foreign language as mentioned on the title page. It is set in the style of a Platonic dialogue and describes a symbolic peregrination of a writer who fell asleep from exhaustion and awoke 672 or 700 years later, i.e. in 2400.
