Konstantinos Bardalachos. Μαθήματα διὰ τοὺς παῖδας συνερανισθέντα ὑπὸ Κωνσταντίνου Βαρδαλάχου, vol. I, Odessa, Τυπογραφία τοῦ τῶν Ἑλλήνων Ἐμπόρων Σχολείου, 1830.
First edition of this educational text book by Bardalachos, whose works appear for the first time on the printing scene in 1812 (Physike Peiramatike). Koumas also drew material from his works for the composition of the many volumes of the Seira Stoicheiodous (see No. 1363). Bardalachos (1775-1830), originating from Chios, with studies in medicine in Padua, was mathematics professor at the Bucharest Academy, ending up as headmaster of the Odessa local school.
