abbé Claude François Xavier Millot, Στοιχεῖα τῆς Γενικῆς Ἱστορίας παλαιᾶς τε καὶ νεωτέρας, translation by Konstantas Grigorios – Kavras Zisis, Venice, Panos Theodosiou, vol. Α´, 1806.
Zisis Kavras (or Kavouras) was born at Ambelakia, Thessaly. He studied philosophy under Georgios of Ioannina, and later moved to Bucharest, where he became a teacher. He studied medicine and mathematics at Jena. In 1800 he wrote a book titled Elements of Arithmetics and Algebra, which was published by Fielder's printing shop.
