Meursius is the Latinized name of prominent Dutch philologist Johann Meurs (1579-1639). This is an expanded edition of the Glossarium, which was printed in Leyden in 1610. It consists of a record of words sourced from texts by Byzantine authors with an explanation of their meaning in Latin.
